General Application Tips
No matter which program you're applying to, these tips will help ensure a smooth process.
Carefully review eligibility and application requirements to ensure that you are eligible for the program you're interested in.
It can take time for institutions to issue official transcripts. Order them early enough to meet all applicable deadlines.
Choose recommenders who can comment on the quality of your work from a supervisory perspective — faculty, managers, supervisors, or preceptors. Avoid recommendations from friends, colleagues, or family.
Read essay and short answer prompts carefully and craft responses that substantively address them. Avoid using generic essays written for other institutions.
Applying can be a complex process. If you have questions, don't hesitate to reach out to the admissions office — we're here to help.
