The Department of Public Health Sciences offers three graduate degree program: the Master of Public Health (MPH), the Master of Science in Public Health Sciences for Clinical Professionals (MSCP), and a Ph.D.

Master of Public Health (MPH)
The Master of Public Health (MPH) program is designed to prepare students for careers as public health researchers and professionals. The MPH is broad in its scope, with students developing proficiency across several public health disciplines, including biostatistics, epidemiology, health policy and management, social and behavioral sciences, and environmental health sciences. The MPH has four concentrations: Epidemiology and Global Health; Health Policy; Data Science; and Community Health Promotion. These four concentrations, as well as the MD/MPH dual degree program for students at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, have been accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). https://ceph.org
PhD Program
The Ph.D. program will offer advanced courses of study in biostatistics, epidemiology, and health services research, supported by a core methodological curriculum in population-based research on human health.

Master of Science in Public Health Sciences for Clinical Professionals (MSCP)
The MSCP is a course of study in the theory, methods, and concepts of biostatistics, epidemiology, and health services research needed to design and carry out clinical and epidemiologic research programs. It is designed for the professional enhancement of individuals who already have doctoral-level expertise in Medicine and related clinical disciplines.
