My experience at Montcalm Community College has been a blast! From the start, I felt welcomed by staff and fellow students, creating a friendly atmosphere that made connecting easy. I’ve loved the variety of courses, where passionate professors provide valuable support and real-world applications of our learning.
Hands-on projects and group work have helped me build friendships while enhancing my skills. The college also fosters a vibrant student life with events and workshops that promote personal and professional growth.
However, I would like to see more affordable housing options near campus, making it easier for students to engage fully in campus life. Expanding resources like tutoring services and dedicated study spaces would also be beneficial.
Overall, I’m grateful for my time at Montcalm. With a few improvements, I believe it can become an even better place for students to learn and grow, and I look forward to what the future holds!

Montcalm Community College is a great place to extend your education further! The community the students, professors, and staff provide is welcoming and encouraging. I made some wonderful new friends at the college of many different backgrounds! I was able to take in-person classes, as well as, online classes. My professors for my in-person classes were encouraging and very kind. My professors for my online class kept open communication with me at all times, which made it easier for me to succeed in my courses. The campus itself is very nice and well-kept. The college offers many kinds of activities to get you involved with others! There are many sports programs and extracurriculars to get involved in! It would be awesome if the college could continue adding more educational and sports programs. This would help to draw more people to the college from all over, and it would help to support the surrounding communities.

Good environment, safe campus, enough activities, happy staffing, professional interactions, good programming, great feedback, awesome library staff, community areas are fun, activities are engaging. Mix between online and in person programming is pretty sufficient. Wish some no. Credit classes were available on main campus for fun activities after classes that don’t involve sports. Learned a lot about patience time management, friendships both with peers and faculty. All faculty treat you like they are your teachers no one is seperate which makes things feel quite homey.
