This semester, a group of students worked with Fredy Daza and Volvo on a consulting practicum project about the impact of AI in the workforce. Fredy shared photos from their final presentation on LinkedIn: "The team brought fresh perspectives, deep insights, and delivered an outstanding presentation."
Here`s what the students had to say:
"I`m grateful for the collaboration, the insights, and the chance to contribute meaningful work in such an innovative environment. I look forward to seeing the continued progress!" —George Ihediwa
"This consulting course was an incredible opportunity to put our classroom learning from the #NCStateMBA program into practice and receive real-time feedback." —Joshua Epperson

In MBA558, Artificial Intelligence in Management, Professor Haroon Abbu encourages his students to future-proof their careers by learning about—and using—AI tools.
In a recent assignment, Abbu`s students wrote reflections on AI and the future of work. He then used AI to summarize their thoughts. Here are some of their thoughts:
"As a manager, I fear for the jobs of some of my employees as we right size our headcounts to the needs of the business."
"AI won`t replace you, but someone who knows how to use AI will."
"The biggest thing is approaching AI with a growth mindset and embracing the discomfort that a comes with rapid change."
What do you think about AI and the future of work? Let us know in the comments.
We’re thankful for the thinkers and doers, the leaders and change-makers who make our #NCStateMBA community so vibrant. Like this group of first-year MBAs, who held their own Friendsgiving recently.
