Overall, the University of Florida is a great school. It’s super safe, I have never once felt unsafe there. The education I received there was not only useful in the classroom, but outside of the University. If you’re lucky, you will also have a handful of professors that are genuinely dedicated to your success. There are so many different ways to make friends and find the people for you. You truly get the full college experience, and on top of that we are a Top 5 University. Go Gators!

The curriculum at the University of Florida can be challenging with large classes sizes, but the professors are passionate and attentive to students’ needs. There are also countless ways for students to stay engaged. Whether it’s playing volleyball at the student recreation center, watching the Gators compete in football, or joining game nights at the Reitz Union. The university also supports a wide range of student clubs and organizations, and students are encouraged to get involved or even start their own. A standout feature of UF is Lake Wauburg, where students can kayak, rock climb, paddleboard, and more for free. Each student can also bring a guest.
Parking and transportation across campus could also be improved, as the university is quite large and widespread. Outside of campus, Gainesville offers limited entertainment options unrelated to the university. A greater variety of shopping, restaurants, and non-party-related activities would enhance the overall student experience.

Attending the University of Florida is easily one of the best decisions I've ever made. Networking opportunities abound, the classes are challenging and informative, every professor is looking out for you, and the people you meet will be generally very kind! The area is beautiful and so lively. If you get the chance, go for UF!
