    Dr. Neel Rao is a microeconomist with research interests in labor economics, economic theory, and health economics. He received his PhD from Harvard University. You can find him teaching Economic History (ECO 201), Education Policy (ECO 199), Labor Economics (ECO 443/543 and ECO 743), Microeconomic Theory (ECO 405/505), and Topics in Microeconomics (ECO 406/506)!

    The College of Arts and Sciences’ economics program leapt 14 spots to No. 52 among public universities and climbed 31 places to 112th nationally, reflecting its growing impact in research, teaching, and student achievement.
