My time at MCC marked the beginning of my academic journey, and it proved to be incredibly beneficial. College can be a challenging environment to adapt to, but MCC made the transition feel seamless. The abundance of resources available ensured that I always had somewhere to turn for assistance, even when I faced difficulties. The majority of my professors were outstanding, consistently providing support and guidance to help me succeed, provided I put in the necessary effort. While the social scene may not be as prominent, which was good for studying, I still managed to make connections with my classmates. Overall, MCC provided a supportive and resourceful environment that greatly contributed to my academic growth and success.

Review SUNY Monroe Community College

I really enjoy the freedom I have to create my own college experience at MCC , especially when it comes to taking online or in person classes at a time that is convenient for me. MCC is great because it offers the affordable, flexible path to a degree if that is what you are looking for and it also offers a true college experience if that is what you were looking for. There’s lots to get involved in on campus or if you are someone like me who has a full-time job and commitments other than just school, it is great for simply getting an education as well. One thing I would love to see change on the MCC campus however is its safety precautions. In a country where we see school shootings on the news more often than anyone would expect, I find it concerning that most if not all of the doors into the buildings around campus are not locked or require a ID card to enter most of the day.
