Visit the Art Museum WebsiteCollege of Creative Arts and Media students learn, perform and collaborate in 11 buildings across the WVU campus — a massive 150,000 square feet of labs, theaters, studios, classrooms and maker spaces.
Students can reserve a time or drop into our four practice suites offering multiple rooms, two for general instrumental/vocal and one each for piano and percussion with instruments and equipment installed.

Two accomplished faculty members were tapped to serve as school directors in the WVU College of Creative Arts and Media (CCAM) as of July 2025. Emily Corio is the new director of the Reed School of Media and Communications, and Michael Vercelli has been named the interim director of the School of Music.

Maria Carmona, a music conducting doctoral student in the WVU School of Music, took the stage of the historic Warner Theater in Washington, D.C. to conduct the American Pops Orchestra (APO) during the 38th Annual Hispanic Heritage Awards (HHA), airing Friday, September 26, 2025, on PBS.
